A Systematic Review of Design Creativity in the Architectural Design Studio

Creativity is fundamental to design problem-solving. This paper sets out a systematic review of the literature in relation its role architectural studio order identify central issues that impact upon this activity. Challenges and best practices reviews are outlined, procedure followed context set detail. involves an iterative evaluation process resulted pool 17 papers for analysis. Eleven themes emerged analysis papers, which were organized into five key categories dealing with: pedagogy, cognitive approach, interaction socialization, information representation, measuring ideation creativity. A discussion these contributed comparison connections between selected identification critical directions promoting creativity studio.
